Operation Rainbow Push will be issuing turkeys to families for the  Christmas Holiday.  In order to receive the turkey, the individual must come to Push headquarters (950 E. 50th. Street) to register to receive the  turkey. Registration begins November 30, 2009.   

Office hours are 9:00 am to 4:30 pm (Bring some form of state Id)

On Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 9:00 am the person can pick-up their turkey at Operation Push right after the Saturday morning broadcast program.

Children under the age of 17 must be at home or accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 years or older after 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and no later than 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturdya nights.

Children who are curfew violators often become victims of crime.  Don’t let this happen to your child.

Are your children prepared for the cold? We want to help. New, quality coats will be distributed to children living in CHA and Housing Choice Voucher households thanks to a partnership between the City of Chicago, the Chicago Housing Authority and Operation Warm.

You must pre-register online to receive coats.  Registration starts Sept. 14, 2009 at www.chayouth.org.  Include your CHA client ID and the sizes of coats your children need.

Coats will be distributed on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009 at the UIC Forum, 725 W. Roosevelt Road. A resource fair will also take place on this day.

Remember, you must pre-register at www.chayouth.org with your CHA client ID to receive coats. CHA residency will be verified.
