Mark Victor Hansen & Robert G. Allen

Mark Victor Hansen & Robert G. Allen

I had the opportunity to meet Mark Victor Hansen & Robert G. Allen, the authors of Cash In A Flash, at a Chicago Social Media Club meeting in September 2009.

I didn’t have a lot of money on me, so I asked Mr. Hansen to gift me a book.  Do you know I received a double blessing? Not only did I get a book, Mr. Hansen told me that “we expect great things!”  What a way to be sent off with a good book!

Well, Mr. Hansen, I am working on those great things.

I had a conversation with someone about my entrepreneurial plans.  He asked me, “What if it fails?” Fail????  With all of the work I have done and the efforts that I have put into learning, failure is NOT an option.  Granted, things may not go the way I want them to all the time, and I have plans for that.  But failure?  I have never considered it because that is NOT in my business or life plan.

People fail when they don’t start something that is on their hearts.  People fail when they start something and don’t finish it.  People fail when they don’t seek out assistance.  People fail when they don’t do what God will have them to do. I am NOT one of those people.

My purpose and spiritual mind will not allow me to think failure.  The only way I can fail at this point is if I don’t do the work necessary to make things happen.  I have come too far to expect anything but success. So, no, failure is NOT an option.

My little sister has been asking for an iPod for a long time.  I told her that I would get her one of she was OK in school this year.  Well, I don’t have to get it, because she won an iPod Shuffle in a hula hoop contest this weekend.  Talking about putting requests in the Universe and receiving them!  I’m going to hold tight to ALL my requests.  My sister is proof that if you ask, you will receive.

I have many ideas and things going on.  When I think there is something that I need whether I need it at that moment or not, the spirit will speak to me and tell me what to do.  It’s great!  Now, I truly understand that God will not lead you to a place He has not prepared for you. I’m saying this to say that if there is something you have asked God for, and are in a position to accept it, it is done.  You just have to prepare yourself for is waiting for you.  God has done His part; it is now your turn.

This is the best waiting mode ever.  It is quite challenging because on a human level, I want to do what I can to get things done as soon as possible.  On a spiritual level, I know that God has a better way, and it is far superior than what I can think or do.  So, let me sit back, keep working, and let God do His work.

Everything happens in order and according to God’s will.  I needed a card for my computer so my electronics would work with the computer. I bought the card, but the cord that came with the electronic didn’t fit.  I got another cord today and it fits!  I also got the software needed to make some stuff happen.  I’m loving it!  Ah, the flow of creativity is absolutely exhilerating!

I am reading Ask and It Is Given: Learning to Manifest Your Desires by Esther and Jerry Hicks (The Teachings of Abraham) and they said that “if the way you are feeling falls somewhere between (1) Joy and (5) optimism, the Creation Box would be a good one for you to utilize right now.”

This box will include things that you want to include in your experience.  Find pictures of clothes, buildings, travel destinations, vehicles,  images of physical characteristics, whatever.  The authors also advise you to say, “Whatever is contained in this box – IS!” as you drop things into your box.  ”The more things you find for your box, the more the Universe will deliver to you other ideas that match them.  And the more ideas you drop into your box, the more your desire will be focused.  And the more your desire is focused, the more alive you will feel – for the Energy flowing through you is what is life.”

This was totally inspiring to me because I have so much to put into my box including that macbook and the master collection by Adobe.  I am also going to drop in the million dollar check that I wrote to myself, but when it comes to me in physical form, I’m sure it won’t be voided. :)

I am also going to go out on a limb to put the lives of children in the box.  I see them all harmless and alive in my box. I don’t care whose babies they are or how old they are.  One last thing I see my DTV box IS working ok because right now it sucks on a daily basis.

What would you put in your IS box?

Shorty's IS Box - Filling Up Quickly!

This was sent to me, and I just had to share it.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

   MATTHEW 11:28-29

WE LIVE IN A SOCIETY that loves to make excuses, and one of our favorite phrases is: “It’s not my fault.”  But the truth is, if we are bitter and resentful, it’s because we are allowing ourselves to remain that way.  We’ve all had negative things happen to us.  If you look hard enough, anyone can make excuses and blame the past for his bad attitude, poor choices, or hot temper.

It’s time to let go of your excuses and to get rid of your victim mentality.  Nobody–not even God–ever promised that life would be fair.  If you bring it all to Jesus and let it go, today can be a new beginning.

If you want to do something for God, then don’t associate with people who do nothing. You may have to drastically change your life if you want to move on with what God has called you to do. Spend time with people who know how to use their days well.

Just as iron sharpens iron, positive people will inspire you to be positive. Godly people will inspire you to use your faith to do for the Lord what is in your heart to do. Spend time with people who are doing something for the Lord. Elisha got a double portion of Elijah’s anointing, but he had to associate with Elijah for a long time to get it (see @ Kings 2:1-14).
